Andrew Cox and Kevin Mackridge, owners of Talisman Hire Ballito, Pinetown and Pietermaritzburg, will this week compete in the world famous Sani2C Mountain bike race. The sport is an absolute hobby and stress reliever for the two, whom both over 40, prove age is just a number!

The Sani2C riders route stretches over 271km, sporting an ascent of 4 840m, this race covers some of the most scenic and breath-taking landscapes South Africa has to offer. Cox and Mackridge often partake in strenuous bike races nationally and internationally, and have been training hard to achieve a comfortable finish in this week's Sani2C.  Andrew, who is the road racer of the two, has often joined legs of the Tour de France. Both will fly to France to ride this year.

Andrew cycles 350km a week and Kevin slightly less as his three young children and busy operations role create an early start. Kevin enjoys cycling along the coast and Mountain biking the surrounds of Ballito. They are both avid supporters of any form of mountain bike or road race and have often raised money for several for charities. The two are the Official Sponsors of the Inanda Aces Football Club.

This year sees the first co-sponsorship agreement between TALISMAN Hire and the organisers of Sani2C on a National Level. TALISMAN Hire will showcase their high pressure cleaners whilst sponsoring and manning three much needed mountain bike-wash stations. Cox and Mackridge are also one of the sponsors of the Sugar Rush Classic MTB race on the South Coast 9th June 2013. Follow us on Facebook or Twitter and visit our web www.talisman.co.za.
